We assembled on Wednesday, 23rd June for a practice round in good spirits, looking at our name on the winners board in the clubhouse.
We had a great team - Peter Desmond (PD), Mike Greenough (MG), Dr Tom Kinloch (TK), Mark Horton MH), Bill Bickerstaffe (BB) & myself (JG) ...... ready to defend.

We had our chances to beat Edinburgh and I know all the team knew we should have won..... and they won the whole thing.
As far as regrets - none at all, all our pairs were equal and capable of beating every team.
A great few days with great company - other teams were saying things like "we have a 2 handicap joining us etc..." we already have them! ........ From proper difficult courses.
So as long as we can stay fit, we can do it again!!
