I can't recall the name of the unknown player but understand he emigrated to Canada to further his profession ( I think as a Doctor)
I spent ten years at sea as a Purser, ten further years ashore in Liverpool in the shipping industry after which I emigrated to Durban with my wife and two young daughters.
All together I had been connected with the shipping industry for over 60 years.
I now reside in Margate, some 150 kilometres South of Durban in a retirement village.
