Obituaries
I have the sad task of informing you that Bryan Perrett (Selwyns) 1952 died in hospital in the early hours of Tues 16 June.  He had been in failing health for some time. He was a member of the Seagull Partol in the school Scout Troop, the 7th Wavertree and was in the CCF.  He served in the 17th/21st Lancers during National Service and later in the Westminster Dragoons followed by many years in the 40/41st RTR (TA) where he rose to the rank of Captain.  In civilian life he works in insurance with Lloyds and later with Griffiths & Armour the Liverpool brokers.  He left the insurance world to concentrate on writing books on military history.  He published over 60 books. He leaves his wife Anne.  He will be sadly misses by all who knew him.

Regards
Dave Burrows
