It is with great sadness that I must inform you of the passing of former Art master and Head of Howson’s, Alan Ashcroft.

Alan passed away on Tuesday evening, at the age of 90.

The recent articles published by former OL’s on this site and the many tributes that continue to pour in from former pupils, friends and the rugby community have been very comforting to our family.

Thank you on behalf of all of us.

Jason Ashcroft
