Founders' Day (originally 22nd October 1840) is when all connected to Liverpool College have the chance to come together and remember and celebrate the school's founding at Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral.
Who will be there? Who is eligible to attend?
If this list includes you, you are most welcome to join The Principal and staff in the Cathedral.
Founders' Day will be celebrated this year on Friday, 9th October, 2026
The 186th Founders' Day Service will take place in the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral
Please register if you wish to attend. This will help with planning.
We will not issue tickets for those who register.
Apart from designated seating, you are free to sit wherever you wish.
The service starts at 12:00 pm, so please ensure you are in your seat by 11:50 am.
Parking in the Cathedral car park is limited. Please give yourself time to park up and walk to the Cathedral.
