Back in 2008, Lord Hunt of Wirral (Lerpoolian) kindly arranged in conjunction with Nigel Moss (Lerpoolian and London Society Secretary) for a day out in London.

Starting with a trip down the River Thames from Westminster Bridge to as far as Tower Bridge, champagne and lunch were on the menu.

Returning to Westminster Bridge the party of Lerpoolians and partners enjoyed a tour of the Houses of Parliament followed by a Reception in The Lords' section of The Terrace Pavilion.

The Pavilion is a purpose-built heated marquee providing an ideal venue for all weather conditions. The panoramic glass doors offer uninterrupted views of the river Thames, and open out onto the terrace; an idyllic setting for a glass of chilled champagne in the summer months. Judging by the photos it wasn't just the champagne that was chilled!
